Love Has No Age Limit
We know you're strapped for money! That's why, first of all, we asked all the actors involved in the production of this book to discount their services.
Authors, Karen London and Patricia McConnell, publisher McConnell Publishing Ltd, Jam Graphics in Madison, WI (typesetting and design) and Suttle-Straus in Waunakee, WI (printing), all agreed to donate a significant amount of their costs or fees, allowing cash-strapped organizations to distribute the book to every family adopting a dog from their facility.
We would especially like to thank Julie Mueller and Jennifer Weitzman of Jam Graphics, and Diane Erickson and Alan Scheidegger of Suttle-Straus for their generous care and concern for homeless dogs everywhere.
Here are some ideas to help organizations purchase multiple copies (remember, the more you order, the lower cost per book):
***Find a donor who will purchase them for you. Research shows that people are more inclined to donate money for a specific product or event. Think of how good it would feel for someone to know that for less than $150 they can help 50 dogs and 50 families adapt to their new lives togther!
***Set your own price for the book and make the cost of the book part of the adoption fee. That way every adopter will go home with their own "coach" about how to transition from "new dog" to "best dog" and your organization can raise some extra funds.
***Join forces with other shelters, humane societies and rescue groups to get the best price possible.
