Funny you encapsulated this thought in your blog just as I was struggling with the same problem with Kandy. We just got 5 young sheep on the farm and Kandy has a new BC buddy, that’s a lot to adjust to for a young dog. So, when she ripped into the sheep ignoring my commands I thought, let’s end on a positive note and try another approach. The second approach wasnt much better. It was hot and Kandy was frazzled. We quit thinking tomorrow is another day and maybe, keeping it simple, just walking on a lead among the sheep would be a better approach without much stress.
